Five Ingredient Food Prep 24 Hour Curry

This is so easy to prepare & leaving in fridge for 24 hrs to marinade & tenderise the meat before slow cooking in oven for up to 2 hrs. I first discovered this style of recipe at my local butchers 30 years ago in the UK & have been refining it ever since.

SUPER-SIMPLE 24HR FIVE INGREDIENT CURRY
  • 500g diced pork or beef
  • 2 chopped white onions
  • 2 chopped apples
  • 100g coconut powder
  • 100g almond powder
  • 20g curry powder or curry paste
OPTIONALS
  • Chopped coriander
  • Honey
  • Vinegar
  • Cashew nuts
  • Spring onion
  • Fresh ginger 
  • Tomatoes
  • Salt
This recipe is easily switched between beef & pork, depending on what you have available. When I am making the beef version of this, I add a little pineapple juice & chopped tomato. When making the pork version, I add extra fresh ginger & apple juice.
